Coogee Dojo Interclub Tournament 2026

Thank you for your interest in the Coogee Tournament! Applications have now closed for participation in the tournament, and we’re getting prepared for a great day of action.

Below are some helpful details for the day:

Date: Saturday 28th March
Venue: Matraville Youth and Cultural Hall,1-5R Knowles Ave, Matraville 
Time: Competitors please arrive 9:00am for a 9:30am start (Non-contact planned to wrap at lunchtime, padded to finish approximately 3pm)

When you arrive, fighters, please ensure that you register your attendance at the door. Those competing in the padded contact, please ensure you are weighed in as you arrive.

For all non contact divisions - mouth guards compulsory, shin pads optional
For all padded contact - mouth guards, groin guards(for boys) and shin pads compulsory, all other equipment is provided

Adults - rounds will be 2 mins in length
Under 18s - rounds will be 1.5 mins
Padded - 2 rounds x 1.5 mins, with 1 min of rest in between

To keep everyone fuelled for the day, we will have the lovely crew from Maeda Japanese Restaurant  there with a stall of delicious Japanese food available for purchase. Please note the menu below. Food purchase will be CASH ONLY so please come adequately prepared to feast!
